Thinking Outside the Lunchbox

Thursday, October 14 at 5:00pm to 7:00pm

STEP 101

What do you think about when choosing the food you eat? How healthy it is? How much fat or vitamins does it contain? But what about its carbon impact? The food carbon footprint project is a student-run project with the goal of increasing student awareness of their food carbon footprint (the total amount of carbon produces in the growing, transporting, and producing of the food we eat). For this 5x10 students will learn what a food carbon footprint is, how to reduce theirs, and the new Lehigh Dining project that is helping to make Lehigh even greener.
