This event is an opportunity to connect students' learning about fast fashion to Lehigh's Swap Shop. This free thrift shop, hosted in the Office of Sustainability, aims to reduce clothing waste on campus. Students are welcome to donate items to the shop or browse for items. The event itself will consist of two parts:
Part 1: Introduction to the Swap Shop, a short film about the fast fashion industry, and a discussion about the film and how it applies to the Swap Shop.
Part 2: Students will be given the opportunity to tour the Swap Shop at its new location in the Office of Sustainability.
This proposed 5x10 event will fall into the Creative Curiosity category.
