This is an introduction to SQL meant for beginners. We will discuss what SQL is, describe the makeup of a database table including data types, and work through the structure of a SELECT query. If there is time, we will also do an introduction into built-in functions. This is ideally for beginners looking to create their own database queries or for those who want a refresher on SQL basics. The first 50 minutes will be for the presentation/examples and the remainder of the time will be for Q&A.
