The sex communication workshops are a series of 4 self-reflection and discussion based workshops. Their goal is to help students explore their awareness, attitudes, knowledge, and skills about sexuality in order to create pleasurable interactions during sex through effective communication and the ability to understand and know one’s self and partners. These workshops are designed to create a foundation for a lifelong process because competence with one sex partner does not mean competence with another.
Workshop 3 Sexual Knowledge addresses the following topics:
-Gaining knowledge of sexual partners’ sexuality, desires, boundaries, and non-verbal cues.
-Knowledge of sex and gender norms.
-Interacting with and learning about sex and gender from various people and diverse groups.
-Gaining knowledge about different cultural sex practice and different sexological worldviews.
