About this Event
111 Research Dr., Bethlehem, PA 18015
EVENT POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER. WILL BE RESCHEDULED.
The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Commemoration Committee cordially invites the entire Lehigh community—students, faculty, and staff—to unite in commemorating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Our celebration commences with a Community Breakfast at the Mountaintop Campus at 9:00 AM.
This year's gathering draws particular inspiration from Dr. King's profound words enshrined at the King Memorial in Washington, DC, including the stirring passage from his 1964 Nobel Peace Prize acceptance address. These timeless messages will serve as focal points for reflection and discussion during our morning assembly.
RSVP Required: Given the intimate nature of the breakfast gathering, seating is limited. We kindly request your RSVP by January 13th. RSVP at this link.
The day's observances continue at noon, when participants will congregate at the flagpole for a meaningful Walk of Unity, symbolizing Dr. King's enduring message of solidarity.
