About this Event
Please join the Office of Research and Graduate Studies and the Humanities Lab for an interdisciplinary panel discussion on the topic of gender and health on Thursday November 12 at 4:30 pm. Colleagues from Religion Studies, the Center for Gender Equity, the College of Health and Institute for Indigenous Studies, and Biological Sciences will offer brief observations on how their intellectual work engages with challenges, opportunities, and questions related to gender and health. These short interventions will be a jumping off point for an open conversation between panelists and audience members. We will allow plenty of time for informal dialogue that may engender future research and/or teaching collaborations.
Panelists:
Dena Davis, Presidential Endowed Chair in Health and Professor of Religion Studies
Leslie Pearson, Associate Director, Center for Gender Equity
Christine Makosky Daley, Professor and Co-Director, Institute for Indigenous Studies, College of Health
Ann Fink, Professor of Practice, Biological Sciences
