We are delighted to be bringing Julie Rodgers to campus on Tuesday, November 9th at 7p in the Asa Packer Room (UC 3rd floor). Julie Rodgers is the author of Outlove: A Queer Christian Survival Story. She played a key role in shutting down Exodus International that largest conversion therapy organization in the world. She is featured in the Netflix Original documentary “Pray Away” (2020). Her writing has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Time Magazine, among others. Julie inspires audiences to reimagine belonging. Julie will be giving a talk entitled “Reimagining Communities: In our work. In our life” where she will tackle tough topics like how we work together to build bridges in divided spaces.
