The Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning will be holding its yearly Winter Workshop on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Please join us to discuss and learn more about topics and tools that will be of interest for your teaching this spring.

Jan. 12, 10-11:30am - ChatGPT is a new Artificial Intelligence bot that is sparking conversation and controversy due to its ability to create written content from simple prompts. Greg Reihman, Vice Provost of LTS, will lead a discussion of ChatGPT and its implications for teaching and learning at Lehigh. Join us to learn more about ChatGPT and related AI systems–and to share your thoughts about the challenges and opportunities created by this emerging technology.

Jan. 12, 1-1:45pm - CITL is rolling out several new tools this spring, including Poll Everywhere, Gradescope, and new accessibility tools. Join this session to learn about using Poll Everywhere to engage and create interaction with your students in class. We’ll also demo Gradescope, a web-based application to deliver, grade and provide feedback on paper and online assignments and assessments.
Jan. 12, 2-2:45pm - Over the last year, the Instructional Technology team has been researching, evaluating, and benchmarking several Learning Management Systems, including Canvas, D2L Brightspace, and Moodle 4.0. We’ll share our current findings in this session and also provide a preview of Moodle 4.0, highlighting advancements in both the student and instructor user experience.
