According to Healthy People 2020, a health disparity can be described as “a particular typeof health difference that is closely linked with social, economic, and/or environmental disadvantage.”1 Didyou know that Black women are 3 times more likely than white women to die from a pregnancy-relatedcondition?2 Attend this interactive event to learn more about the prolonged effects that racial healthdisparities pose on mothers and infants, and the ways in which we and other organizations in Bethlehem’scommunity can play a role in bridging the gap.
