Lehigh’s College of Health’s “Population Health Colloquium Series” will focus in Fall 2021 on Health Innovation & Technology in celebration and preparation for our faculty search for the Ellen and Vince Forlenza '75 chair, is designed to bring distinguished experts to Lehigh and to engage the community on a variety of current and important topics in the field of population health.

Join us for a virtual presentation enttitled "Measuring healthcare quality: Why we are failing and what can be done about it" delivered by Dr. Rebecca A. Jacobson,  president of Astrata, a digital healthcare company specializing in natural language processing, which has proved key in harnessing large quantities of health data. The company was born from Dr. Jacobson's work as vice president of analytics at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Enterprizes which came after 16 years as a professor of biomedical informatics at the University of Pittsburgh.

Vince Forlenza '75, retired CEO and chairman, BD (Becton, Dickinson & Co.)  will serve as a special guest respondent.
