49 undergraduates will be inducted into the Lehigh Chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society.  They will receive a certifciate of lifelong membership and an honors cord for their graduation regalia, and then sign the oficial university PBK register. Founded in 1776, PBK is the nation's oldest and most prestigious academic honor society.  Members represent outstanding academic achievement in the lberal arts and sciences and a commitment to learning for all life. Only 10% of US colleges and universities offer a Phi Beta Kappa chapter, and of those, fewer than 10% of a graduating class is invited to join.
