The Rossin Junior Fellows (RJFs) will be hosting an Internship Application Workshop for undergraduate engineering students. The Rossin Junior Fellows is a group of students dedicated to acting as ambassadors and peer mentors to students within the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science. All undergraduate engineering students are welcome to attend this event.
This will be an internship application workshop for undergraduate engineering students. It will begin with a 10-15 minute opening presentation about the internship application process (what it is, where to look, how to apply, things to know) and consist of attendees moving through three stations related to the internship application process:
1. A resume station where students bring a draft of their resume and RJFs will give advice, edits, and collaboratively work through the resume.
2. Next, a cover letter station where what is learned at the resume station will be used to draft a cover letter template.
3. Lastly, there will be a station on how to search for internships specific to the attendee and will make a plan to apply to one internship.
Students will need to bring a draft of their resume and a cover letter.
