Join us on Wednesday, March 3, 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m (online via zoom) for a panel discussion on “Medical Mistrust and Racial Inequities in the Distribution and Uptake of COVID-19 Vaccines.” We will talk about how to address inequities in the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.
Panelists include Dr. Oni Blackstock, Physician, Intersectional Equity Advocate, and Founder and Executive Director of Health Justice; Dr. Lillie Williamson, Assistant Professor of Communication Science (University of Wisconsin, Madison), and Jalila Parker, Executive Director of the Governor’s Advisory Commission on African American Affairs, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Sirry Alang, Associate Professor of Sociology and Health, Medicine, and Society, and Chair of the Health Justice Collaborative at the Institute on Critical Race and Ethnic Studies, Lehigh University
