This seminar provides an introduction to high-performance computing (HPC) resources at Lehigh along with a walkthrough of the essential ingredients required to build research computing projects. Participants will learn the best practices for designing small, exploratory projects so that they can be scaled up to answer questions that require big data and parallel computations. This course will teach newcomers how to use Linux and Python to complete a simple but powerful research computing project.
