Academic Literacies Workshops Fall 2023: Designed for multilingual, international students, our workshops enhance English language skills and develop a deeper understanding of American academic culture. These workshops are free of cost and open to all Lehigh undergraduate and graduate students, staff, faculty, and Bethlehem community members.

Workshop Description:  Learn the four key principles which guide formal email writing in American academic and professional contexts. Topics will include how to write an apology or excuse email, as well as how to write a formal email to someone who you do not know on campus, such as a professor whose class you would like to take. Additional topics will include how to write appropriate email subject headings, greetings, and closings. Please bring any questions you may have about email etiquette, so that we can have a robust discussion!
