During this event, we educate the Lehigh community about the visually impaired community and have people eat blindfolded to experience a small part of what visually impaired people endure every single day. This connects to the goals of our organization because we promote diversity, which includes not only race and ethnicity, but also people that endure various disabilities. We also focus on educating the Lehigh community on various communities that are unfortunately neglected at times. We hope that through this event that we will be able to educate Lehigh students, faculty and staff about the blind and visually impaired in a unique way.
