About this Event
Join us for the third workshop in the Design Your Life graduate workshop series to kickstart 2021. This Zoom workshop will apply design thinking to conceptualize career and life plans. It is based on the book Designing Your Life by Bill Burnett & Dave Evans. Through a series of activities and discussions, you will learn techniques to answer the questions: Thinking of the next five to ten years, what plans can you begin to create for your career and life? What questions can you identify as part of your plans that are important to you? If you were 10 years into the future and looked back on your life, what would you highlight to be thankful for? Interactive exercises and materials for the session will be provided though you may reference your personal copy of the book during the workshop. This series is sponsored by the Center for Career and Professional Development, the Graduate Education & Life Office, and the Graduate Student Senate.
