The second production in the Department of Theatre's Season at the Zoellner Arts Center is Galatea.
Directed by faculty Lyam B. Gabel (they/he) and written by playwright MJ Kaufman (they/them).
Galatea is a queer love story at the end of the world. Set in a magic forest with nymphs and love spells this production will highlight trans, queer, and non-binary joy and create a space where the TGNC community at Lehigh is centered and celebrated.

Roles include:
** GALATEA: a boy dressed like a girl dressed like a boy
** PHYLLIDA: a boy dressed like a girl dressed like a boy
** CHORUS: they play everyone else. including 2 retired dads in love, Venus goddesses of love, Diana goddess of the hunt, Cupid as a club kid, nymphs, and more.
Production dates are November 4-12
Anyone in the Lehigh community can audition! No performance experience is required. You are eligible for 2 credits in THTR (Humanities) if cast!
There are roles for trans and non-binary actors as well as cisgender women.
