Celebrate Earth Day with ESE!

Spring is here and we want you to celebrate Earth Day with Energy Systems Engineering in the STEPS building on the concourse. There will be displays, demonstrations, light refreshments, plants, giveaways & more.  Come and see what Capstone projects our ESE and the EES students are working on, take our ESE Earth Day quiz for a chance to win a gift card! 

•  Hear from PPL staff from their Community Roots Group on their sustainable vegetation management practices - plant giveaway, and predictive failure equipment.

•  Meet and mingle with students in the Renewable Energy Club, at Lehigh University.

•  Renewable Fuel Oil! The Sustainable Energy Fund will explain how campus-wide heating can be performed with net-zero carbon.

 •  What is I-CPIE & what's going on?!!

•  Geothermal carbon-free Heating on Campus? Hear from our LU Facilities staff what we are up to!

•  See & hear from ESE and EES students on their fascinating Capstone projects that highlight renewable energy, the earth, the environment an more! Imagine solar panels on warehouse roofs. Grid Following or Grid Forming? Virtual Power Plants on Campus?

•  Come hear and see what the Office of Sustainability at Lehigh University is doing about reducing our carbon footprint.
