A candidate for our 'Health Disparities' position is a Lehigh alumn. Most of their work, in research, teaching, and applied psychology has focused primarily on individuals afflicted by health and mental health disparities. The foci of their research on social support, co-occurring disorders, and diversity issues are grounded on ecosystemic and syndemic perspectives consistent with the tenets of community health. They have been involved in research that exemplifies a community-based participatory framework and have gained experience in qualitative and mixed methods approaches.
