Neville Hall Lobby
Civic Engagement Day is a celebration of voting and being involved in our country. CED is planned by Lehigh Votes which is a combined effort between Student Senate, College Democrats, College Republicans, SPAC, and the Douglass Dialogues. This year’s celebration will have 2 main components: Walk to the Polls and Traditional Events. The traditional events were what made up most of last year’s CED and lectures/discussions where students are able to contend with difficult issues and learn from their peers and faculty. The walking to the polls portion is new. This will be broken up into morning and afternoon parts where students will be invited to join others and walk to the polls together. Many first-time voters might be confused about where to go and what to bring, so this will be a helpful way for students to get to the polls prepared and excited.
9-10: Walk to Polls / Breakfast (Starting at Neville Lobby)
10-1: Lecture/Discussion Events (Neville)
1-2: Walk to Polls / Lunch (Starting at Neville Lobby)
Hosted by: College Democrats, College Republicans, Douglass Dialogues, Lehigh University Student Political Action Coalition, Student Senate XXXV
